I am a Computer Engineer from Universidad Católica del Norte, Antofagasta, with over 27 years of experience in IT for mining processes.
CEO and Co-Founder of Antara and Aisoncore, software companies that support responsible mining with traceability and collaboration.
After graduating from university, I worked for two mining companies, Antofagasta Minerals and Yamana Gold. I then decided to start a consulting firm to develop mining software, Sistemas Norte Web.
I am an Endeavor Entrepreneur chosen in Colombia in 2012. I won the Endeavor Chile Entrepreneur of the Year Award (2016).
In 2015, with the idea of providing local entrepreneurs with a free co-working space to work on their projects, we co-founded Espacio Atacama (220 m²) in Antofagasta with two friends. Then, we invited other Endeavor entrepreneurs and created Fundación Mi Norte (FMN) a couple of years later, to provide mentoring and offer more useful resources. Later, with IF Chile, we created an 850 m² space in Antofagasta for entrepreneurs. With BHP, we created a new space (950 m²) named Espacio Atacama BHP Escondida.
I believe that entrepreneurship and industrial innovation can be fostered in the academy. I served as a board member of the Scientific and Technological Park (PCT UCN) at Universidad Católica del Norte.
I am a rugby player, and as the years passed, I looked for ways to continue contributing, so I was a board member of the Antofagasta Rugby Association and the Chilean Rugby Federation (Chile Rugby Union) for eight years.
Mentor of UC Innovation Center, Endeavor, and FMN.
Stanford GSB 2023.
